When Is an Online Legal Consultation Enough?

An online talk is enough when you need to understand something. That covers most cases — a legal notice you have received, an agreement you are about to sign, whether your claim is strong enough to pursue, a document you need drafted, or a second opinion on a case already running.

You will still have to be present in person for three things: registering a document at the sub-registrar office, court hearings, and mediation. And if you need bail or an urgent court order, treat the call as a first step only. That work is time-bound and needs a lawyer you formally engage.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an online legal consultation?

It is a talk with a legal professional on phone — without going to an office. People use it to understand their rights, get a document checked, find out if their case is strong, and plan the next step.

Can I consult a lawyer online in India?

Yes. People do this every day for property, family, business, job, consumer, and criminal law questions. But to appear in court, you still have to engage an advocate.

How do I book a consultation with WebLex?

Message us on WhatsApp, call us, or fill the form. We confirm what you need and the fee, then fix a time.

How much does an online legal consultation cost?

It depends on the type of matter, how complex it is, and how long it takes. You get the exact figure in writing before the call is fixed. Stamp duty, registration, and court fees are separate government charges.

Is an online consultation cheaper than going to a lawyer's office?

The fee itself is usually similar. What you save is travel, waiting, and making the same trip three times for something that one call can settle

Is the consultation private and secure?

Yes. Your details and documents are shared only with the person handling your matter.

Can I get a document drafted after the call?

Yes. Drafting and review are separate services. We quote them once we know what you need.

Can I talk about a property dispute online?

Yes. Checking papers, title questions, partition, possession, and boundary issues are all discussed online. Only registration and court dates need you to be present.

Is a virtual legal consultation as good as meeting in person?

For advice, checking documents, and planning — yes. For court appearance, mediation, and registration, you have to be there in person.

Does WebLex appear in court?

Our main work is online legal consultation and documents. If your matter needs court representation, we will tell you and explain the right way to go about it.
